PROJECT OVERVIEW

This bespoke outbuilding was designed and built as a fully insulated end-of-garden pub for a property in Wethersfield, Braintree. The client wanted a warm, welcoming space that felt like a genuine pub but still complemented the garden setting. The structure was built with durability, character and year-round usability in mind.

Quality materials and traditional methods were prioritised to create an authentic, long-lasting garden pub.

Completed over approximately 8–10 weeks, including all structural, roofing and cladding works.

THE VISION

The client wanted a private pub space at the bottom of the garden where family and friends could relax, entertain and enjoy evenings together – without leaving home.

The finished build created a warm, characterful garden pub with a solid structure, beautiful craftsmanship and a premium roof finish. With its glazed frontage and natural timber cladding, the space blends seamlessly into its surroundings while offering a cosy place to unwind throughout the year.
