This project involved constructing two distinct loft conversions on a property in Muswell Hill. Each loft design was tailored to maximise internal space while working within the existing roof structure. Both conversions were built to create generous living areas that would significantly improve the home’s overall layout and value. Eternit slate was chosen for the exterior to deliver a clean, modern and low-maintenance finish.
A full design-and-build loft conversion package for both sides, including:
Because the property required two different loft layouts, our team carefully planned each build to work harmoniously with the existing structure while meeting the client’s expectations for space and usability. Clear communication and phased construction ensured a tidy, efficient process. The use of Eternit slate allowed for a crisp, durable exterior that ties both conversions together visually.
Completed over 12-16 weeks, covering all structural, roofing and external finishing phases.
The client wanted to significantly expand their living space, adding extra bedrooms, study areas for working from home and private en-suite facilities – all while maintaining a cohesive exterior that respected the property’s character.
Both loft conversions delivered spacious, bright and functional new rooms that transform the home’s upper level. The Eternit slate finish provides a sharp, modern exterior while offering long-term weather protection and very low maintenance. The new layouts offer excellent flexibility for family living, working and guest accommodation.
